I am always super inspired by the black creatives in my chosen family, they have held me up in many ways, and I want to do the same by using this newsletter to showcase my community. For today’s post, I wanted to honor my dear friend (and GOOD SIS) Lauren Davis, show her amazing digital work, and share what she is doing to support Black Mental Wellness organizations.

This digital collage ‘they don’t love your neck unnoosed and straight’ (2017) I titled after an excerpt from Beloved by Toni Morrison.
A meditation on the ways in which black bodies are routinely transfigured and what a revolution it is to deeply know, love and be attuned to your body.
I would like to offer this print, with all proceeds going to black mental wellness orgs: BEAM, Loveland Therapy Fund and The Foundation for Black Women’s Wellness.
Prints are $40, printed on archival matte paper (nice ass paper) at 11X14”. Including shipping (US only). No link in bio.
